His Friday must-watch (10/14)

So far this season I'm definitely liking the Nikita, Michael and Birkoff combination (8/7c, CW). I wasn't sure how things were going to start off this year. Percy locked away. Michael and Nikita on the run. Alex back at Division. Amanda running the show over there. A lot of new things to pull together for a 2nd season.

Somehow they've pulled it off. Last week was pretty good, other than the telegraphed "one of the main characters is in a life-threatening situation, but obviously they're not going to kill him off because that would destroy the show" plot. Alex looks possessed (I miss last year's Alex), and she and Nikita are headed for some serious showdowns throughout the year.

The show will continue to hold DVR status and get my must-watch status for tonight.
